In the period of Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi(2004-2007) who put no-corruption as the main target in his administration (was hugely publicize during the early days when he had just received his mandat),

Malaysia has slide to the 43rd spot from 39th. (in other words, we've gotten worst.)
